Surf Instructor Part Time

Sunrise Surf Academy’s goal is to share life lessons that we have learned in our years of being in the ocean. Surfing has helped us become more confident, independent, and appreciative of the present moment. We take pride in our initiatives and hope to make tangible impacts on issues directly related to the surfing community.

Full-time, part-time and seasonal work available with tons of flexibility.

If you or anyone you know is interested in working on the beaches of LA (Los Angeles) this is a great opportunity.

There is a training program for new employees and a really awesome team of people who work here.

As a surf instructor, you will be running an hour and a half or two-hour lessons. You are responsible for helping the client get on their wetsuit, teaching them the basics of surfing and the ocean through a land lesson, and getting the clients some sick waves.

If you’ve never taught before but have Ocean/surfing experience that’s totally fine. Our rigorous training program will get you caught up to speed in no time.
