Full List of Daily Tasks:
Greet guests and actively approach new guests
Complete registration of all the guest who will use facilities of KitePeople and;
Prepare beginners for their lessons and provide detailed spot information for free riders
Explain rental equipment terms and conditions
Complete payments upfront of any services at KitePeople
Morning cross-check on the guests who are leaving and have outstanding payments due
Plan all lessons on office laptops ensuring correct pairing for guests with their instructors.
Ensure all lessons are displayed on the white board and instructors are informed of their schedule
Monitor instructor teaching hours from each lesson
Answer emails, website instant messages and Whatsapp ensuring a prompt response time
Manage Social Media accounts (Instagram, Facebook & YouTube)
Respond to customer reviews on TripAdvisor and Google Business
Promote retail sales and complete transactions with customers
Source, order and monitor shop inventory
Close the station end of the day
Check cash register and count to cross check it aligns with recorded sales for the day
Follow up on outstanding payments
Inform guests of their upcoming lesson times for the following day
Clean the station and ensure files are stored away
Switch off all electricity and lock up station Skill Requirements:
Intermediate MS Office skills including excel and word
Strong communication and customer service skills
Good social media skills and basic photo editing capabilities
Water/extreme sport background is useful
Retail sales experience to promote the retail store and grow sales
Resourceful and ability to adapt as we grow KitePeople
Responsible and reliable handling company finances
Ability to work full time
