SURF HOUSE HOST GRAN CANARIA Full Time

High Voltage Surf Adventure are looking for the Host who want to work as a House Host ( Voluntary Basis ) We are a beach front surf camp located in Gran Canaria Island near the Moroccan coast, the island is Spanish. Looking for someone who can start from ASAP with minimum commitment of 2 months.

If you want for to live for sometime in amazing Oceanfront Accomodation, meet new people and have unlimited surfing. That’s for you 🏄🏼‍♀️🏄🏼

Host Responsibilities:

You would be the front of house. To make a long explanation short, the job is taking care of the guests and the house.

Daily tasks include but not limited to:

• Grocery shopping for the house (we offer breakfast)
• ⁠Making smoothies in the morning
• Organization of the guest arrivals and departure
• Light maintenance and light cleaning of the common spaces when needed ( kitchens, empty the bins, wash towels )
• Guest orientation and welcoming them ( check in and check out )

*Host Requirements *

• Must speak English
• Someone dynamic, organized and that takes initiative
• A « people » person that likes to meet people from everywhere and interact with them, you will be the front of the house
• The surf camp is in Spain so you must have the proper documentation to stay here (Visa or EU nationality)
• An experience in hospitality is a plus

*What we offer: *

• Private room with private bathroom ( Maybe sharing with one more staff )
• Your food is covered by the surfcamp up to a certain amount
• Unlimited surfing and access to all the gear (boards, wetsuits, body boards, surf skates…)
• A fully equipped house that has everything you might need
• A work day is approx 3 hours, can vary depending on arrivals and departure of guests, you should have plenty of time to rest/surf/have fun if you organise your work
