WHAT IS THE TEAMER PROGRAM ?
The teamer program is for 4 weeks. You will be working 6 days a week and 6h per day. Depending on your position, working hours could be in the morning, day, evening or night. In exchange, we offer accommodation, food, and free use of the surf equipment. You will also be able to join surf lessons should there be available space.
Being part of our team means you will also be part of the week. Our aim is for the guests and staff to form one group. Our staff should enjoy the week as much as the guests and represent Gota Dagua’s group experience throughout the stay.
Teamer should be comfortable in getting out of their comfort zone and be social butterflies with a helpful and forward thinking personality.
Our Yoga Teacher position is for a period of 2-3 months.
WHAT ARE THE AVAILABLE ROLES ?
Social Host: A social host is responsible for creating and maintaining a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for guests in social or group settings. Their main role is to ensure guests feel included, entertained, and cared for throughout their stay or event participation. The duties of a social host are centred around hospitality, group dynamics, and activity coordination. Social hosts need to have a large social battery and are already acquainted to be leaders in a very social and multicultural environment.
House Team:Â A house teamer plays an important role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and comfort of the surf camp, ensuring guests have an exceptional stay. This role involves not only managing the physical upkeep of the property but also enhancing the overall guest experience by creating a welcoming and well-maintained environment.
Surfschool Assistant: A surf school assistant helps in ensuring the smooth operation of surf lessons, rentals and overall upkeep of the surf school. Their primary duties include managing and maintaining surf equipment, such as distributing and collecting surfboards and wetsuits, ensuring all items are clean, organized, and ready for use. You will also need to interact with customers, inform on prices, surf lessons availabilities and any other related queries. The position demands strong organizational skills, social skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for surfing and outdoor activities.
Yoga Teacher: The yoga teacher will be responsible to give yoga classes to all guests who have booked the yoga pack. You should have completed the minimum 200h teacher training course as well as previous experience in teaching yoga. To keep the lessons manageable, you will have 1-3 lessons per day depending on how many guests have booked. This role also requires you to be part of the surf camp’s experience, to be part of the week and socialize with guests.
