Volunteer in our Surf Camp Volunteer

We are looking for a volunteer to join our team from 25th of August to 10th of November!

Amado surf camp is located in Carrapateira’s  secluded valley where you can relax and enjoy nature. This is only 5 minutes away from Amado beach where we have our beach hut and where guests are dropped off for their surf lessons.

Duties include:

• Prepare breakfast and clean up dishes after guests have finished.
• General cleaning including bathrooms, toilets, kitchen and guest accommodations.
• Picking up and dropping off the guests and occasionally driving guests to restaurants and bars.
• Laundry.
• Looking after the guests.
• Being a social team member.

Requirements:

• An interest to learn surfing.
• Confident English skills, spoken and understanding. Any other languages are an advantage.
• Valid drivers license.
• Minimum 1 month commitment.

Description:
This is a volunteer position so in exchange for your work we provide you with surf lessons alongside accommodation and breakfast. We require around 4 hours of work each day, but as our volunteers live with the guests, it is required to be flexible and helpful at all times.
We like to provide a laid-back atmosphere for ourselves and our guests, but we also understand hard work is needed to create this easy-going lifestyle.

Accommodation:
Social living in a great environment, either in a shared dorm or a private tent.

Meals:
A full breakfast is provided as you’ll need the energy for the day. All other meals will be provided by yourself

About Us:
We are a surf school founded by a team of local surfers living in the South of Portugal. Our passion for surfing lead us to open our own school to give you the opportunity to learn and surf along our coastline in the South West of the Algarve.
