This could be professional experience in a related job or personal experience from your daily life. If you haven’t worked in cleaning before, we’d love to hear about your approach to cleanliness and organization in your own home.

This role is essential for the smooth operation of the camp and the satisfaction of our guests. Do you feel motivated and capable of handling such an important responsibility?

We are open to hiring for the full season, but we cannot guarantee this upfront. From experience, maintaining a high work pace while enjoying free time for surfing can be physically and mentally demanding if you’re not used to it. Let us know how you feel about this!

About the job:

Main Responsibilities:
Cleaning rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
Changing and washing sheets including
Scrub sheets by hand in stain-prone areas.
Helping in the kitchen if needed

BIOSURFCAMP 2025 – JOB DESCRIPTION
1. CLEANING
Bathrooms: Twice a day
General rounds: Benches, showers, outdoor showers, sauna, kitchens, tables, barbecue
Trash collection
Wetsuits, surfboards, vans, chicken coop, vegetable garden
Slackline, indoboards, hammocks, pallet cushions
2. BEDROOMS
Windows and mirrors
Cobwebs (inside and outside the accommodation)
Mold removal (ceilings and walls, using bleach)
Floors: Cleaning under drawers and beds
Bed-making
Bedspreads and towels
Cleaning switches and sockets
Cleaning bedside tables, drawers, and lamps
Collecting dirty sheets
Scrubbing sheets
Laundry: Washing, hanging, folding, and organizing**
Working Conditions:
40 hours per week, with one day off
Free use of stored equipment outside working hours
Contract options:
Half-season: June 15 – end of July OR early August – September 15
Low season: If the camp starts or finishes with very few guests, working hours may be reduced for a short period
Salary: €1,000/month (full-time)

We would include accommodation and breakfast. Most likely also meals in exchange for 45 minutes kitchen assistant
