Surf Camp Manager Full Time

We are looking for a Manager and Team Leader for our Bike & Surf Camp on the Portuguese Atlantic Coast (12 km south of Peniche).

This long-term position offers the opportunity to take on significant responsibilities and actively shape the future of our camp.

What you should bring:

• Extensive experience in tourism, hospitality, and/or gastronomy, ideally with team leadership experience
• Fluency in German and English; Portuguese is a plus
• Initiative and a passion for taking on responsibility
• A valid driver’s license

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a motivated individual who resonates with our concept of an alternative family-oriented surf and bike camp. Applications from couples who envision a long-term perspective in Portugal — potentially even taking over the camp — are especially welcome.

Your responsibilities:

• Coordinating daily operations at the camp (including Surf Lodges and campsite)
• Organizing breakfast buffets and BBQ evenings
• Weekly planning and task distribution within the team
• Managing and maintaining our project management tool (Trello)
• Conducting weekly team meetings
• Procuring and managing supplies such as food, cleaning, and hygiene products
• Monthly accounting (cash report in Excel)
• Planning and organizing activities for guests
• Communicating with clients during the booking process
• Managing the booking system (“bookinglayer”)
• Coordinating surf lessons, MTB tours, yoga sessions, and transfers with our partners
• Monitoring payment transactions
• Guest check-ins and check-outs
• Organizing minor repairs and maintenance
