SURF INSTRUCTOR — Hvide Sande, Denmark (2026 Season + Long-Term Option) Full Time Part Time Temporary

✨ Role Overview

We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable Surf Instructor to join our team for the 2026 season. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with small groups, connecting with guests, and living close to nature.

For the right person, there is the option for a renewable 12-month contract, including up to 3 months of paid leave, in line with Danish employment standards.

📅 Contract Details

Season: End of March – End of August

Expected hours: Approximately 10 to 20 per week (weather & booking dependent)

Contract type: Seasonal fixed-term employment

Compensation: €1,000–1,400/month (gross)

Accommodation & meals: Provided as employee benefits (private room, shared bathroom; same meals as guests)

📜 Requirements

ISA Level 1 certification or equivalent
Minimum 1 full season of teaching experience
Confident English and German (Danish is a plus)
Due to Danish regulations, must hold an EU passport or valid EU work permit

🎯 Responsibilities

Teaching beginner and intermediate surf lessons (up to 6–7 students per group)
Providing surf theory and beach safety briefings
Supporting guests with equipment, wetsuit care, and beach setup
Running no-wave activities (theory, SUP/kayak sessions, paddling or balance workshops)
Keeping surf equipment clean, maintained & organized
Participating in reasonable shared tasks (garage, dry room, courtyard, simple garden upkeep)
