Surf Instructor Part Time

Drivethru Surfcamps in Sri Lanka is currently seeking a Surf Coach to join their surfing team from October through April. The primary responsibility of the coach will be to develop a comprehensive weekly surf lesson plan for surfers of various skill levels, which will include conducting video analysis sessions. Additionally, the coach will be required to hold surfing theory lessons for the guests.

The Surf Coach will play a crucial role in supporting the local surf instructor team and serve as a backup for surf lessons when necessary. To maintain the coaching standard and drivethru Surfcamps’ coaching philosophy, the coach will actively participate in the local surf instructors’ lessons.

Beyond coaching, the Surf Coach will also act as a host during the guests’ stays, attending to their needs and ensuring an enjoyable experience.

Possessing an ISA Level 1 Surf Coaching and Beach Lifeguard certificate is a requirement for the ideal candidate for this position, who should also have experience in working in developing countries, particularly in Sri Lanka.
