Full time head chef – Dolgarrog, UK Full Time

Wages: Salaried £23.000 per annum (plus overtime)

Hours: 40 hours plus

28 days holiday per annum (inclusive of bank holidays)

Flexible/Split shifts/evening/ weekends

Skills required & and entry requirements:

• Excellent Cooking skills (with a minimum of 5 years’ experience)
• Leadership and Management skills
• Organisational Skills
• The ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions
• The ability to stay calm and overcome any food production problems
• A qualification in food safety
• Experience in similar role is essential
• Ability to work as a team in a fast paced busy environment

Day to day duties:

You will organise and manage the work of the kitchen staff, decide which tasks need to be done and share these among the team.

• Making sure food is of the right quality
• Planning specials
• Working shifts, involving early breakfast shifts and late nights, weekends and public holidays
• Managing stock
• Ordering food from suppliers
• Keeping accurate records
• Managing health and hygiene procedures
