Assistant Volunteer for Surf Camp Volunteer

We are looking for a Surf Camp assistant, male or female, english speaking, who would enjoy joining our team at Surfivor Surf Camp!
We are offering a volunteer position in exchange for free surf lessons and accommodation (shared dorm) in our surf house right behind the dune. Our surf camp was established in 2004 as one of the first in north Portugal and we enjoy welcoming people from all around Europe and the World to teach them surfing and show a little of the Oporto region.

Job tasks & responsibilities:
Helping with simple tasks at the surf camp:

• Reception: welcoming and hosting guests; Check In & Check Outs, Billing;
• Picking Up arriving guests at train station
• Cleaning & maintenance (won’t substitute the cleaning staff)
• Assist surf instructors preparing equipment for Surf lessons & help with Surf School maintenance
• Prepare Breakfast and 1x weekly BBQ
• 2 weekly activities with guests (dinner out, visit to Oporto, etc)
• Min. 3 month job opportunity: May – Jun – Jul or Aug – Sep – Oct or both periods
• Incl. 2 week trial period at the beginning of work experience

Job Requirements:

• drivers license and good driving skills & experience
• english speaking – fluently
• age above 23 years
