Waidroka Bay Resort is a Surf & Dive Adventure Resort with a focus on Wellness & Yoga. We are looking for COUPLES ONLY who have experience in resort live-in positions in remote locations and working in a small team to deliver unforgettable Fiji experiences. SURF OPERATIONS MANAGER: Surf Guiding at Waidroka is a based on being an excellent surfer who is a people person and enjoys being in hospitality. From coordinating the admin & bureaucracy with waivers, liabilities and boat logs etc…to organizing the surfers on the various boats daily, interpretation of surf swell forecasts, organizing lunch packs with the kitchen, working with the boat captains and most importantly being on the boat and in the water to ensure SAFETY! YOGA INSTRUCTOR/WELLNESS MANAGER: Following the establishment of our Wellness/Yoga product in recent years, we are looking for a Yoga Instructor with passion for wellness and healthy living. The applicant of course must be a certified Yoga Instructor and conduct in-house classes accordingly. Further the applicant will have a broader knowledge of fitness/stretching techniques etc…as well as a people person and enjoy hospitality. The job entails organizing our morning and evening Yoga sessions, an opportunity to do some stretching/fitness with our guests which may be more specifically tailored to surfers and divers, as well as the creation of an overall awareness of Wellness and Healthy Living. FURTHER SKILLS & REQUIREMENT FOR BOTH POSITIONS:
As ‘Managers’ both roles will be considered part of the leadership team at Waidroka. That means leading by example, being a motivating force on the team, seeing what needs doing at all times and doing / getting it done to ensure that the environment is always 100% guest focused. The roles will require regular interaction with guests outside of ‘normal’ roles.
Supporting general resort administrative procedures, repairs & maintenance with focus on watersports, supporting marketing & promotional activities with specific focus on Social Media Platforms and photography are also necessary. More information will be provided after you apply.
Both applicants need to be passionate and motivated and enjoy working in a small team and helping and supporting each other across all areas of the resort operation.
