Surf Coach / Surf Manager Full Time

We are looking for a passionate surfer with surf coaching experience for Xanadu Village, a 6-room boutique surf & yoga retreat in Kuta, Lombok. An ideal candidate should be motivated, organised, people-oriented, emphatetic, driven and a team player, preferably with experience in living in place similar to Lombok.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome dinner surf briefing (every Sunday)
• Surf theory and video analysis
• Participate in enhancing the surf programme in collaboration with the Surf Director
• Managing the team of local surf coaches
• Managing the surf equipment
• Managing the daily schedule together
• Ensuring high quality of service
• This job also includes an element of hosting – the surf coach is responsible for capturing the guests’ feedback during their stay in informal day-to-day conversations to make sure they are well taken care of by the whole team during their stay

Important note:

• Although Lombok is a beautiful holiday destination, this job is not a holiday stint. We are looking for an individual ready to commit to the role for at least a year. We are a growing company so we are offering career growth and as we are planning to open Xanadu in other locations, we’d be happy to offer options of working if other locations should you decide to stay with us longer than a year.
