Management & Other

Hello and thank you for taking the time to go through my CV. I’ll begin by going over my education. I started my bachelor of commerce specializing in Hotel and Food Management in 2016 at the University of Guelph. I learned everything on how to run a successful hospitality business. While studying our professors would empathize the importance of making the customers feel special. I learned many tricks on how to go above and beyond for customers to give them an unforgettable experience.

While studying I also did internships with Marriott hotels in Whistler, British Columbia. I worked in the housekeeping department as a room attendant and houseman. I learned what it takes to thrive in a hospitality environment as the Marriott provided us with extensive training. I shadowed each department on my own time to gather as much knowledge as I could.

My passion for travel then led me to work as a Management Trainee at Penske Truck Rental in Honolulu Hawaii. I further improved my customer service skills working the front desk and gained experience in customer service.

I have been in Europe for the past 10 months on a Portuguese Working Holiday visa. Since I have been here I have worked at various surf camps in Portugal, Sardegna, and South Africa. I have worked as head chef and kitchen helper in these camps. I have developed my skills in the kitchen making recipes and producing quality food for the guests.
