Looking for a volunteer surf coach / instructor for a surf camp in Weligama, Sri Lanka Part Time Volunteer

If you want to explore the South Coast of Sri Lanka while doing what you love, Layback is the perfect boutique Surf & Yoga Camp to do so. We are locally owned business located in Weligama, a small fisherman town, where increasing tourism meets local life.

We are looking for a volunteer to do level 2 (green waves) intermediate surf coaching twice a day (5 days per week) including theory for our Surf & Yoga Camp.

Requirements:

• You have to be fluent in English.
• You must be certified ISA or similar with lifeguard training.
• Have teaching experience.
• You have to explain technical aspects of surfing.
• You will be leading surf theory classes.
• You have to be very patient, strong social skills and you have to be a good surfer too. You will be teaching people in and out of the water.
• Send us your surfing pics, videos or a link to your social media.

Contract:

• 3 – 6 Months stay
• 5 days surf coaching per week
• 4 hours per day

What we provide:

• Accommodation in a shared room with AC.
• Meals. And whenever we’re going out for food or family dinner you’re also included and all the food and expenses are covered in those occasions
