Are you passionate about surfing, love sharing your skills, and thrive in a vibrant community by the beach? We’re on the hunt for an energetic and experienced Surf Instructor to join our beachfront surf camp in the stunning Ahangama area of Sri Lanka!

Hosting beginner and intermediate surfers from around the globe, we’re all about creating unforgettable experiences, building connections, and sharing the joy of surfing. With world-class waves at our doorstep and a fun, laid-back vibe, we’re the perfect spot for surf enthusiasts looking to inspire others and immerse themselves in tropical paradise.

What You’ll Do

As our Surf Instructor, you’ll play a key role in helping our guests make memories of a lifetime:

• Lead daily surf lessons (1-2 per day) for beginner and intermediate surfers, ensuring safety, skill development, and tons of fun!
• Deliver a surf theory presentation and provide video analysis once a week to help guests refine their technique.
• Guide first-time surfers with engaging introductions, covering essential techniques and safety tips.
• Offer personalized feedback and in-water coaching to improve guest performance and confidence.
• Keep the vibe inclusive and positive, managing group dynamics with ease.
• Maintain and manage surf equipment to ensure it’s lesson-ready.
• Be a friendly, approachable presence, contributing to our camp’s welcoming community atmosphere.

What We’re Looking For

We’re searching for a rockstar instructor who brings:

• Certification: ISA Level 1 or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 1 year teaching surfing, especially with beginner to intermediate levels.
• Ocean Knowledge: Strong understanding of ocean safety, currents, and surf etiquette.
• People Skills: Excellent communication and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Personality: Flexible, energetic, and a team player who thrives in a fun and social environment.
• Language: Fluent in English; other languages are a plus!

• Accommodation: A private room just a two-minute walk from the camp.
• Meals & Drinks: Daily breakfast buffet, staff lunch, and delicious buffet dinners. Coffee and drinks are free all day! (Note: One day per week, we dine out as a team, so no staff dinner that evening.)
• Surf Perks: Access to premium surfboards for your personal use, with one of Sri Lanka’s best surf breaks right in front of our camp.
• Yoga: Free yoga sessions when spots are available.
• Time Off: Depending on bookings, enjoy one day off per week (discussed with management).
• Community: Join a supportive, fun-loving team and meet people from all over the world.
• Paradise Location: Surf in tropical waters, soak in golden sunsets, and be part of a surf camp that guests rave about!

We’re looking for someone to commit to 2-3 months (preferably) and help us create unforgettable memories for our guests.
