Hostel Manager Part Time NEW

HOSTEL MANAGER

We currently have two hostels in Las Palmas and are opening a third one — so we’re looking for an experienced Hostel Manager to join the team.

You’ll be running the day-to-day operation of the hostel and making sure things work — from staff and schedules to guests, bookings, housekeeping and whatever unexpected situation comes up.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing and coordinating the hostel team
• Creating schedules and organizing shifts
• Overseeing daily operations and guest experience
• Keeping bookings, check-ins, check-outs and housekeeping under control
• Handling problems, complaints and last-minute situations
• Training new team members
• Coordinating maintenance, suppliers and other operational needs
• Organizing or supporting community events and activities

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience in hostel or hotel management
• Someone who can take responsibility and make decisions independently
• Organized, reliable and good at keeping a cool head when things get busy
• Comfortable leading a team and dealing with all kinds of people
• Hands-on attitude — you’re not above helping out wherever needed
• Social, open-minded and genuinely into the hostel environment
• Someone who wants to work somewhere that is busy, international and actually fun
• Fluent in English and at least some Spanish

We take the work seriously, but not ourselves too much. There will be responsibility, plenty of people, the occasional chaos and hopefully a lot of good stories along the way.
