Dreamsea provides a truly unique opportunity to travellers who are looking to utilise their valuable skill sets in exchange for accommodations. Since opening Dreamsea, we have hosted well over 3,000 volunteers. We offer two different Volunteer options that allow you to become a member of the Dreamsea team, in exchange for helping us maintain the overall atmosphere and operational excellence at Dreamsea!

Dreamsea has guests from all over the world who come to stay with us, and it is because of our team of volunteers, that guests of Dreamsea are not only welcomed with unceasing warmth upon their arrival, but also that during their entire stay and through their eventual departure, remain the central focus, and are ultimately made to feel like a family member of the Dreamsea team even long after they leave!

Dreamsea is always looking for qualified volunteers to join the team! If you are an experienced Surf Instructor just reach out to us let us know your level of experience in any of those fields, and we will contact you with details about joining our Qualified Volunteer team!

Our volunteers are walking representations of Dreamsea Costa Rica and should embody the core characteristics that we stand for: Compassion, Kindness, Enthusiasm, Open-Minded, Productivity, Thoughtfulness, and Resourcefulness.

On average, Dreamsea Volunteers contribute around 10-15 hours per week in their assigned tasks and responsibilities.

There are a multitude of daily tasks and responsibilities that are to be carried out by our volunteers. These responsibilities are not just vital to the camp’s overall atmosphere and progress, they are simply the heart and soul of it. While a volunteer’s responsibilities will include some general tasks such as maintaining cleanliness throughout the camp, helping in the kitchen, gardening, and making sure our events and trips go as planned, it’s the additional contributions that a volunteer takes initiative on, that helps Dreamsea be the best it can be!
