Intern and Level I Surf Instructors – Seal Beach, Lakewood, California USA Full Time

If working at the BEACH is your kind of work environment then this might be the job for you. Duties include teaching students how to surf and have fun, with an emphasis on safety.

Positions Available:

• Intern Surf Instructor
• Level I Surf Instructor

Qualifications:

• Good Attitude, ability to follow directions and personal responsibility.
• Ability to work with and assist others in a one-on-one and group environment.
• CPR and Water Safety Certification preferred.
• Able to work with kids from ages 5 – 95.

Duties Include:

Lifting and transporting equipment in and out of van and to and from the beach. Teaching basic surfing and safety principles. Assisting students in catching waves, may require pulling or pushing them into waves. Supervising the students and keeping track of their location.
