Kitesurf instructors for the upcoming summer season! Freelance Full Time

AlgarveFunSports is looking for Kitesurf Instructors to join our team for the upcoming summer season. (from May/June to September/October)
We are teaching in the Lagoon of Alvor, which has great conditions: a shallow area with flat water and sunny days. The winds are mainly coming from land, so you will need to be able to work under gusty conditions sometimes. We have a private company boat that will assist you in the lessons in need for rescues.
We only teach with high-quality gear from DUOTONE that you will be able to enjoy in your free time.

We deliver fun, engaging, and safe kitesurfing sessions. Most of the time, one session a day (3h). Sometimes, if the conditions allow it, we work 2 sessions with extra compensation. The lessons are mostly semi-private with two students and one kite or private with one student. Sometimes, we also host group lessons with 4 students and two kites.
Our instructor’s house is located close to the lagoon at a walking distance to the centre of Lagos, a city with lots of fun activities. (Beautiful beaches, SUP, surf, wavekiting, cycling..) We are also happy to welcome instructors with their own accommodation. (usually with their own van)

Requirements:

-Valid Kitesurf instructor certification (IKO or VDWS) with 100+ hours of teaching.
-Flexible, reliable & good guest relation skills.
-Positive work mentality: Proactive, friendly, open-minded & a team player (willing to help with equipment maintenance or opening the school sometimes)
-Fluent English is a must. French, German, or Spanish is a plus!
-Other skills like photography, video, social media, kite repairs, boat/car driving license are also a plus, not a must.
