Surf Instructor with experience Full Time

We are looking for an experienced surf instructor, male or female, english speaking, who would enjoy joining our team at Surfivor Surf Camp!
We are offering a paid position and a friendly and family like vibe, in a still very uncrowded surf destination in Europe.
Our surf camp was established in 2004 as one of the first in north Portugal and we enjoy welcoming people from all around Europe and the World to teach them surfing and show a little of the Oporto region.

Job tasks & responsibilities:

• Teaching weekly Surf Courses for Beginner & Intermediate level from Mon-Fri with two daily sessions
• 2x weekly Theory Sessions
• Driving to nearby surfspots for surf lessons, which includes the preparation of equipment and vehicles
• Surf Equipment & School maintenance (includes opening and closing surf school, helping guests with equipment outside  surf lessons, cleaning, repairing and organizing surf school and equipment, preparing surf schedule, guest list and equipment for upcoming surf week)
• 1 – 2 weekly activities with guests (dinner out, visit to Oporto, etc)
• min. 3 month job opportunity: May – Jun – Jul or Aug – Sep – Oct or both periods
• incl. 2 week trial period at the beginning of work experience

Job Requirements:

• valid surf instructor certificate (ISA, preferrably FPS Portugal)
• min. 2 years experience in teaching surfing at beginner and intermediate level
• for experienced surfers with good level of surfing
• drivers license and good driving skills & experience
• english speaking – fluently
• age above 23 years
