Wavesurfing Instructors @ the Dutch Coast Freelance Full Time Part Time

We are looking for surf instructors who, in addition to their own good surfing skills (clean take off, down the line surfing, knowledge of basic techniques, safety & equipment), have teaching/coaching experience in the field of wavesurfing.

You will guide you own group with either kids or adults off all different levels, who join your class on a weekly basis. You are able to differentiate, set learning goals and you are responsible for the program and quality of the training and lessons. A surf/instructor training such as ALO/CIOS or ASI is an advantage for this job. Join our team of instructors at the high-quality O’Neill surf academy and the O’Neill summer camps at watersportcentre The Spot, located for almost 25 years in Zandvoort, The Netherlands.

You have experience in guiding groups. You are very available, enthusiastic and self-confident, you enjoy working outside and you are customer-oriented; you make an active contribution to a unforgettable experience for all our guests!

This job involves

• Building up and cleaning up the materials of your lessons
• Welcoming of students
• Preparing lessons for different levels and ages
• Guiding surf lessons for both kids and adults, both starting and advanced
• Guaranteeing safety and quality
• Taking care of the material; maintenance, cleaning, maintaining damage lists, etc.
• Ensuring safety on the beach and at sea

TUV Training Program

The Spot provides an exclusive training program of a few days for all (water) sports instructors according to the guidelines of the VeBON at our own location in the month of March, April and May, dates of which will follow as soon as possible. Pay attention; it is mandatory to be present at all training days and possibly training evenings.
