Surf coach Freelance Full Time Temporary

An exciting opportunity has developed to join our team in Cornwall this year!

As a team at OA Surf Club, we’re highly proud of having over 25 years of experience at our Surfing England Accredited surf school, and we’re always looking to branch out and build our team.

Our diverse business not only runs our popular surf school at Widemouth Bay, and our adventure filled Coasteering sessions at Bossiney, but we also run our unique clifftop accommodation overlooking multiple beaches, (the best place to check the surf).

We’re looking for fun and enthusiastic surf coaches to deliver surf lessons with the option of running coasteering sessions to a wide variety of clients, (a great opportunity to add a variation to your week). We’ll also require you to assist in the day to day running of the business. You’ll be joining our highly motivated, friendly and experienced team who all have a huge passion for the ocean and are always looking to share these experiences with others.

Applicants must be reliable, flexible, have great social skills and above all have an interested in working in the sea.

As well as this we do require a minimum of:

• Surfing England/ISA Level 1 Coach
• Current Lifeguard Certificate
• Clean DBS

However, we always aim to work with and help develop our staff and we can offer excellent training opportunities. So, if you don’t have these qualifications yet, but have a basic surfing ability and are a confident swimmer, then we’d be happy to help you obtain these qualifications if required.
