Cook wanted for surf camp! Full Time

We are urgently looking for a cook for our surf camp in Spain!

Our season starts in just 3 weeks – on 17th May 2025 – and we need support quickly!

You can also apply if you are only available for a shorter period at the start of the season.

We are young and motivated, love our job by the sea, and enjoy our life right on the beautiful beach of the Oyambre Natural Park (Cantabria, Northern Spain). Elementsurf offers you a summer of surfing, hiking, mountain biking, and enjoying the beautiful nature of Cantabria! Our surf camp is looking for a dedicated cook for the period from May to October!

Are you highly motivated and passionate about your job? Do you enjoy working independently and creating creative and varied menus? You will be entrusted with the task of planning and preparing the evening 2-course menu for our young and old guests. In your free time, you can learn to surf from us and surf the best waves right on our doorstep.

Your tasks

• Organisation of the kitchen area
• Preparation of the evening 2-course menu for 30-55 people (5x/week)
• Processing meat, poultry, and fish
• Independent food and menu planning
• Grocery shopping
• Compliance with occupational safety and hygiene regulations

Your profile

• 20 years of age or older
• Training as a chef or a great love of cooking
• Quality awareness
• Team player
• Motivation, commitment, and flexibility
• High degree of personal responsibility and ability to work independently
• Driving licence class B

Working conditions

• 5 working days/week (approx. 6-10 hours/day); depending on the season/workload, support from a kitchen assistant
• 2 days off per week
• Salary: Negotiable
• Full social insurance in Spain (health, pension, and unemployment insurance)

• Free participation in surf courses

• Living by the sea and the opportunity to go surfing every day
