Work Exchange in Ericeira – Kitchen Assistant & Dog Lover Volunteer

We are a small yoga-veggie-surf guesthouse in Palhais, just 1 km from the world-famous surf spot Ribeira d’Ilhas and 4 km from Ericeira. For the festive season (22 December – 3 January) we are looking for a friendly and reliable person to join our team in a peaceful, community-style atmosphere.

Your role includes:

Supporting in the kitchen, especially with dinner cleanup (approx. 19:00–22:00) – about 6/7  times during the 12 days
Walking our Labrador dog “Chocolate” daily
Helping with small daily guesthouse tasks:

Refilling water jars and tea station
Bringing dirty dishes to the kitchen
Getting bread in the morning by bike (7 min ride to Ribamar supermarket)
Light tidying and support to keep things running smoothly
What we offer:

Free accommodation: either in a private wooden cabin or in the attic room of one of our houses (shared bathroom with guests)
Delicious vegetarian meals
Use of guesthouse facilities: yoga shala, gym, ice bath, sauna, WiFi
Friendly, supportive team atmosphere
About 4 hours of help per day in exchange
Please note: Surf lessons/gear are not included in this exchange.
