Female Surf School Manager/Instructor Full Time

Sansara Resort located in stunning Cambutal, Panama is looking for professional surf instructors for the summer season.  The Position starts in October and while the high season runs until the end of May, there is an option to extend beyond.

For the surf manager/instructor role, we are looking for someone who is experienced, energetic, charismatic, responsible, and reliable to lead and tech the Sansara approach to surfing.  This is approach involves teaching a holistic style of supportive assisted coaching and teaching both in and out of the water.  The ideal candidate is mindful, compassionate, and fun, and also someone who is also excited to be part of the beach lifestyle and other activities we organize at Sansara.  This position requires at least 2 + years with teaching and management experience

• You have a previous surf school management instruction experience
• Must have surf teaching and coaching experience
• You have great communication skills
• English speaking – Spanish is a Bonus but not necessary
• Driver’s license with experience in manual transmission

Your responsibilities will be:

• Managing the surf school at Sansara Resort and all duties related to this
• Communicating directly with the Resort Staff to ensure surf times and sign ups are proper
• Provide leadership and inspiration to the team members
• Giving high quality lessons according to the Sansara Resort guidelines
• Managing all equipment and vehicles
• Ensuring the guest experience is of the best quality
• Guiding the Waterfall and  Tide Pool Adventures as necessary
