Volunteers in Carcavelos Surf Hostel Volunteer

We are a surf hostel located in Carcavelos, just 2 minutes walking from the beach! Carcavelos is a famous beach area really close to Lisbon, easily you can get there in 20 minutes by train or in 15 minutes to the amazing Villa of Cascais!

We have a big house with a big garden really close to the beach. You can enjoy our sunny garden and the swimming pool in your free time. We always have amazing BBQ’s parties! If you want to cook you can do it in our well-equipped kitchen.

Carcavelos is known by one of the best beach breaks of the Lisbon area. The big swell season starts in October until June but usual there’s always surfable waves during all year 🙂

Regarding the work, you just need to work 4 hours per day according to these:

Shifts Tasks:

•  07h – 11h            Breakfast; Cleaning; Check-Outs
•  10h – 14h            Cleaning and preparing the Rooms; Check-Ins
• 14h – 18h            Check-Ins; Cleaning; General maintenance house
•  18h – 22h            Check-Ins; Cleaning; General maintenance house

We organise your shifts when you arrive! Usually everyone does different shifts! We organise by week 😉

You have 2 free days per week and we provide you accommodation and let you use a surfboard, wetsuit and bike.
